The market closes.
Arcus doesn't.

Full public statistics for the Arcus perpetuals book: every market, every day, every wallet the venue exposes. Volume and open interest hour by hour, funding rates, what a trade really costs to fill, and the traders behind it. The venue also runs a spot market — it is a separate book and publishes no turnover, so nothing on this page includes it.

Perpetuals only — the spot market is a separate book and is not added in here. Each bar is one day of notional traded, split by market; the pale line is the running total. Days before the venue started writing volume into its candles are left out rather than drawn as zero. The last bar is today, still running — it is drawn hollow, it is a part-day figure, and it is never labelled as the peak.

Longer, warmer spokes mean a market order costs more to fill. Off-hours the venue also asks for more margin on equity markets, so the same trade ties up more collateral.

SHORTS PAY LONGS PAY
Funding is the small payment that keeps a perp tethered to spot. When the rate is positive, longs pay shorts. Equity markets go quiet while Wall Street is shut — the rate stops moving and sits pinned at the venue's base rate, around +4.2% a year, which is the steadiest carry on the board.

Arcus exposes every account through its public API: balances, positions and the equity curve of any address, no key required. The leaderboard itself stops at 100 rows and has no pagination, so the wider count comes from the public trade tape, where both sides of every fill are named. Wallets we operate are listed like everyone else's.
