Vesper · Delta-Neutral Guide
PerplPerpl × OndoOndo

Two exchanges.
One flat position.

Vesper quotes BTC on Perpl and mirrors every fill with an opposite trade on Ondo. You end up long on one venue and short the same size on the other, so the market can go wherever it likes — while open interest and volume build on both books at once.

Ten-minute setup · two exchanges · non-custodial · keys can never withdraw

A live delta-neutral session: Perpl long +0.00251 BTC, Ondo short −0.00250 BTC, net delta neutral, with the unwind clock counting down

A real run. Perpl long +0.00251 BTC, Ondo short −0.00250 BTC, net delta ≈ neutral. The clock counts down the hold, then the pair unwinds and re-enters.

In plain words

What the bot is actually doing

On Perpl the bot behaves like a market maker: it posts buy and sell orders and waits for someone to trade against them. Every time an order fills, it has taken on a position — and a position means risk if the price moves.

So within a fraction of a second it opens the exact opposite position on Ondo. Long here, short there, same size. Add them together and you're holding nothing — the two cancel out. In the run above the two legs differ by 0.00001 BTC, which is simply the smallest step Ondo allows.

Why bother holding nothing? Because both exchanges still count you as an active trader with an open position. Your volume and open interest keep building on both venues — and you are not betting on the chart to get it.

After a while (you choose the range) the bot closes both legs and starts a fresh cycle.

Before you start

Three things you need

⚑ Both exchanges are referral-gated — this is not optional

Vesper only trades accounts that were created through our referral on each venue. If you already have a Perpl or Ondo account that came from somewhere else, it will not pass — you'd need a fresh one made through the links below. Check this first, before you fund anything.

1

A Perpl account created through our invite. Use this link — code jGh4C1kNRTW is applied for you. The same link sits on the Connect page.

Then create a trade API key at app.perpl.xyz/apikeys and keep the key and secret handy — you'll paste them once.

2

An Ondo account created with our referral code 867C4M. Sign up on Ondo with that code first.

No API key to copy here: on the Connect page you sign one message with your wallet and Vesper mints a trade-only key for you. That same step is where your referral is verified — if the code on your Ondo account isn't ours, the key is never created and you'll be asked to sign up again.

3

Money on both exchanges. This mode holds two positions at once, so both sides need funding. Vesper sizes on the smaller of your two balances — a large Perpl balance next to an empty Ondo account gets you nowhere.

Quotes start at $15, so fund each side comfortably above that. The session in the screenshots runs on $72 on Perpl and $105 on Ondo.

Your wallet signs every action. The operator never holds custody, and both venue keys are trade-only — they cannot withdraw your funds, and you can revoke them whenever you want.

1Connect

Open the Connect page and pick Perpl

Go to sypherscore.com/vesper/connect, choose the Perpl venue and connect your wallet. Paste your Perpl API key and secret — they're checked on the spot, and your balance appears when they're accepted.

The venue picker. Ondo is marked invite · SIWE — that's the signature step, not another API key to copy.

2Second venue

Add Ondo — one signature

On the same page switch to Ondo and sign the message your wallet shows. Vesper logs into Ondo as you, checks that your account carries referral code 867C4M, and creates a trade-only key. Nothing is copied by hand and no password is ever involved.

Both venues connected Perpl by API key, Ondo by signature — the delta-neutral mode needs both.

If Ondo answers that the desk is invite-only, your account simply wasn't created with our code. Make one that is, then come back to this step.

3Strategy

Choose Delta-neutral (Ondo)

In Settings, keep the venue on Perpl and select the Delta-neutral (Ondo) card — the one tagged HEDGED · ONDO. This is the new mode; the older Delta-neutral card hedges on Lighter instead and is a different setup entirely.

Then pick your market — BTC is the default and the deepest book.

4Sizing

Hold time, margin and leverage

Hold time — each cycle keeps the pair open for a random stretch inside your Min–Max range, then unwinds and re-enters. A fresh number is rolled every cycle, so your activity doesn't look mechanical. Anything from a minute to a day works; 30–50 minutes is a sane starting point.

Margin — tap tap to load balance and both balances appear side by side. Buying power is your margin times leverage. Because the two legs cancel each other out, leverage here is far less scary than it looks on a one-sided position — but it still multiplies fees, so start modest.

5Go live

Back on the dashboard, hit Start Vesper and sign. The status flips to ACTIVE · making · neutral_ondo and the first cycle opens both legs. Account equity now reads the two venues combinedPerpl $57 + Ondo $106 in the screenshot above — one number for the whole position.
